General

Our platform connects people who need dashcam footage with those who have it. If you’re looking for footage, you can place a request with a bounty reward. If you have footage, you can upload it and potentially earn bounties.

Unfortunately, we only accept reports that include dashcam videos. This is because often photos and just witness doesn’t provide enough evidence.

To place a request, go to the ‘Request’ page, fill in the details of the incident including location, date, time, and a brief description. Then, set a bounty amount that will incentivize others to upload footage.

No, we will not use your dashcam video for any commercial purposes without your consent. We will only use your video to help promote safer driving habits and hold bad drivers accountable for their actions.

Privacy

No, we take privacy seriously and will not share your personal information with other users. All contact information will never be shared or sold. Only information shared would be information on the incident.

Only information submitted in forms are stored. We don’t store your IP, or use any trackers on website. Video is not stored ( see more below) long term unless you agree to use the social-media sharing feature. Otherwise, we just store maximum 10 photo frames of the video ( this is for sharing with other users )

We will retain incident information indefinitely.

However user will have the option to request deletion of data that is associated with your email by contacting us.

Dashcam footage is used to provide evidence for incidents as requested by users. It can also be shared on social platforms if the uploader gives consent.

Reward

You can get reward when someone requests information on a video that you submitted. The bounty that was submitted by the requester will be split between all the reports the requester wants minus platform fee.

For example. a Requester submits a request looking for information on a hit-n-run with a bounty of $10. There were 3 dashcam users which submitted a report. The requester wants all 3 reports so all the users that submitted dashcam report will get an even split on the $10 minus platform fee.

Rewards are paid once the uploaded footage has been approved as fulfilling the request.

Social Media

When you upload footage, there’s an option to allow the platform to share the video on social platforms. By selecting this, you give consent for your video to be shared and potentially earn additional rewards from any profit made from the video.

Currently, we support sharing on YouTube. We are working to expand this to include other popular social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram etc ….
